Boys will be boys...

I just love Monday mornings.
Not really.  I had a fun weekend doing the dirty girl mud run over in Wisconsin....made some new friends, ran a 5K in the mud while doing obstacles and even managed to sneak in some dancing and shopping.

So, Monday morning rolls around and back to work I go...high-ho, high-ho.

I usually have my cell phone close by, in case the kids need me or my Dad calls.
This Monday, I get a text at 9:23am.
"This is lakeberg, Kirby took an elbow to the head and is going down to the ER for stitches."

!

Apparently my dear sweet hubby who is middle age was running a drill with a 17 year old man child and took an elbow to the head. See below.
In order to look tougher, he took Logie outside that night and played some street hockey.
Can't you tell how tough they are by their 'mean' faces?
Logie is such a sweet, loving child. When I got home that day, he was the first one to come out and tell me what happened to his Daddy.

I just love his little face in this picture.....

Dear Coach Kirby...it's only the 2nd week of practice.....take it easy or else it might be a long season and expensive season.
