Lucky 7

On December 14th, 2002... I said "I do."

Today is our 7 year wedding anniversary.  Happy Anniversary honey! I'm still loving ya!

This is one of my favorite pictures of 'that' day.

Tyler and my Dad walked me down the isle to the next important man in my life.

Kirby and I knew each other throughout most of our college days.  It wasn't until I graduated, moved away and came back to visit for a weekend that he realized that maybe I was 'the one.' (or maybe it was vice versa?) We hung out at a St. Patty's Day party at the lakehouse he was living in, surrounded by a bunch of our good friends and having a good time.  That night I wore I shirt that said, "Lucky 7."

Brent and Becky are smiling right now cause they know the story all too well.......

Our wedding day was suppose to be a winter wonderland with ice candels, a light dusting of snow and love in the air.

Reality turned out to be water candels, a 60 degree day in December with no snow in sight but still lots of love in the air.

What's a wedding without guns right? Apparently while I was getting beautiful, my future hubby and his friends were outside taking pictures with the paid by the hour photographer and  their guns.

(Notice my winter wonderland landscape)

It'a amazing how fast times flies and how much your lives can change in 7 years.

Life has been grand.

I'm so excited for the next 7 years, and then the next 7 years after that and so on and so on.

Happy Anniversary honey.  I'm glad I said 'yes' on that cold windy day overlooking Lake of the Woods at the end of March and the end of the ice fishing season.

I'm a lucky gal.

Did you ever see the "FRIENDS" episode.....?

Monica: "Now, most guys will hit uh, 1-2-3 and then go to 7 and set up camp."
Chandler: "That-that's bad?"
Rachel: "Well if you go to Disneyland, you don't spend the whole day on the Materhorn."
Chandler: "Well you might if it were anything like 7."

Classic!
Just like FIVE - she's a Classic.
A TEN in my book - or a "seven" in Friends code.
I love you Michele - thanks for 7 awesome years - and here's to 77 more.
