Safety First.

It is FIRE SAFETY week at Jacobson Elementary. When questioning our newest kindergartner after school as we do most days, Michele and I learned a new safety rule we were unaware of.

Emma,  "OHHHHhhhhhh......I know a Fire Safety Rule."
"NEVER EAT A SNACK INSIDE WHEN THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE!"

As Michele and I held in the laughs, I tried to get a more relevant response from our dear daughter.
Me - "Emma, what are we really supposed to do if there is a fire?"

Silence......   followed by a cute smile.....
Me cont. , "Stop????  ---...... cricket..... cricket....."
(I was looking for the ole' Stop Drop and Roll)
Emma, " Stop, and GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!"

Remember folks - Only YOU can prevent Forest Fires - and that's a lot of Responsibility.  :)

hahaha! If you ask my kids what they should do if there's a fire they'll say, "I know, I know... grab your camera and your laptop, get out of the house and meet in the barn. We KNOW, Mom!"

Emma is a cutie pie.

Kirby would be frantically downstairs trying to grab as many rods/reels/lures as he could..... Too funny!
