Really? Do I have to believe that the leaves are already changing? That Halloween costumes are already on the shelves at WalMart? That the NFL is in full swing and I have to carefully choose my weekly line up for fantasy football each week now?
Really already? Cause, I'm not willing to let go of summer.....not yet. Give me a few more days, weeks, months and then maybe I'll be ready. But, not yet, not when there are still things to be done and nights to be outside playing kickball with the kids until it's way past their bedtime. Not yet when we still aren't ready to put away the swimsuits and summer towels and give up the notion that we can go swim at Daddy's pool still....
Nope, not me, not ready.
Here are a few "last of the summer" pictures ......sigh.
Tyler taking Logan down the big slide, one last time...

Emma going down the big slide by herself, one last time. Level II swimming lessons-here we come next year!

Emma playing with some of her favorite lifeguards one last time....
(is anyone catching on to my theme here?)

Big brother Tyler and Emma tackling in the kiddie pool one last-oh you get the picture, I'll stop.....

Emma perfecting her dive.

Logan-who needs form when you can just jump in?

Me with my kids. (nice goggles Emma)

How cute can you be Logie Bear?

Really? How cute can you be?

Tyler just going for it...
On to the State Fair! Emma making a new friend.

For some reason we spent a good chunk of time in the swine barn.

Sometimes Emma can just be the best-loving-protective big sister.
(and at other times she can torture the snot out of Logan)
Kirby casually mentioned going on the water ride which to Emma's ears meant that they were going on the ride. Here they are getting wet!
What everyone goes to the fair for---FOOD!

We took the kids up on the space needle ride. The last time I was on this was when Kirby and I first started dating many moons ago....
Notice our photogenic children.

Emma was a little uneasy to start.....

Logan loved it because he was finally tall enough to see everything. It's not easy being 35 inches. Sometimes I give Logan our digital camera and let him take pictures just to see what his point of view looks like.
