Are you ready for some football, rockband, and a nice, sunny day?

On Saturday, Tyler had a football game in Cambridge. It was a beautiful, fall day-a great day to be outside watching 6th grade football! Tyler came up Friday night and Kirby drove to pick him up on Friday with his good pal Eric in the car too. Eric and Tyler have played baseball together for the past 7 summers and are good friends. This summer they both got too busy at the end to ever find a night for a sleepover so we arranged for Eric to spend the night and go to Tyler's game the next day.
Friday night was homecoming for Rush City so Tyler and Eric were the ball boys during the game. Afterwards they came home and crashed on the living room floor as it was late!
Saturday we drove to a corn field in Cambridge to watch Tyler's game. They were a little slow to get moving but ended up winning the game 7-6, whew! (Tyler is #85)

Emma and Logan played with Jared and Olivia and even found time to tackle Daddy between plays.

Then after a quick lunch at Arby's it was time to head home and open up Rockband from Papa Ray. Emma and Logan really had fun pretending to be rock stars and so did Tyler and Eric. Later that night, Tyler, Kirby and I played a few songs and I do have to say that I was the best performer by far!

On Sunday we tried to spend as much of the day outside as we could. What a nice weekend! Here's a few photos of Logan in his new big kid swing and of all the kids.
