After Tyler's FB game last week (in which we all stood faithfully out in the rain watching) we did the kids birthday party celebration at my Mom's house afterwards. Being that all 3 of the kids birthdays are within a months time, it's easier for all to just have one big party.
So after Tyler's stunning win, we drove to Grandma's house all soaking wet. Emma's pants were so wet that we had to put them in the dryer, meanwhile she ran around in her new PetShop underwear. But, we all dried off and while Jeff and Vanessa ran out to get some KFC, the kids searched out Grandma's cool house and I prayed they wouldn't break anything of value.
After a quick lunch, we got to the present part.
It looked like Christmas in September but all the gifts were appreciated and played with. Lots of good winter clothes, new books, new color crayons and Tyler who is never spoiled, got a new PSP.
We are very thankful for our family and the thoughtfulness that went behind the gifts. It was a nice afternoon of spending time together also. The kids were well behaved, the cake was delicious and we went home with a packed TB once again....
