In July we ventured out to Wisconsin Dells for the Kirby 5 year family reunion. Last time the family reunion was held out at Lake Tahoe and Emma was just about 9 months old and had her first airplane trip and Tyler was a young 8 years old.
We were all excited for the reunion as it gives us a chance to see family members we only hear of by name but it also gave us a chance to see the Warroad grandpa's and grandma's again!!
The first big outing was a ride on the duck boats.
Here is Tyler and Emma waiting in line.
We were all lucky ducks to get on the same boat.
Emma was enjoying the wind in her hair....
Logan wasn't quite sure what to think about this weird ride...
Tyler of course, is so photogenic sometimes. This was right after we went from land to water.
The duck boat ride was pretty cool and a fun way to start off the vacation. Next on the list was some go carts.
Tyler was super serious about driving as he felt this was good practice for his driver's license in 2 years.
Then it was time for some lunch! I highly recommend Moose Jaw, great food, good atmsophere
The next day we decided to check out a fish aquarium.
(insert sarcastic chuckle, it was anything but an aquarium but we tried to make the best out of it)
A little family photo.
Tyler, being Tyler.
After the fish disappointment, we found a mini golf course and all the kids had a blast working on their golf skills.
On another day we got to a waterpark...it was fun and had a big wave pool which all of us enjoyed the most.
Little Miss Emma jumped in and before we knew it, she was out in the deep end bobbing around. Thank goodness for swimming lessons.
Here is Tyler taking a big hit....
The family reunion was a good time. Every night we all ate dinner together and played games, talked, sang songs and just enjoyed each others company. It was good to see Aunt Tarina pregnant and visit with those folks we don't see very often. The next reunion is rumored to be out in Washington State! Can you say 'road trip?'
