Princess Emma

Last week we were asked if Emma would like to be a page for homecoming week.....
Let's see, would our 6 year old girl like to wear a fancy dress, carry a crown, have Cinderella like hair and be on stage?
We said yes.......

Here is our Emma before the coronation was set to begin. She looks so grown up!

Here is she with Logan...Look at how happy Logan was to be there.
The boy page was Austin and was in Emma's class last year.
Don't they make a cute couple?
Me with Miss Attitude.
We have known Stephanie for the past 9 years. She is our babysitter, works at the pool, Kirby taught her in 6th grade and she was in one of my first volleyball camps when I coached.  We have followed her since she was in 4th grade and it was so awesome that she was a candidate and could share this night together.
Emma carrying down the crown.
Here she is on stage.
She did so great and was so confident doing what she was suppose to do.  There was not one moment where she got nervous or looked at me or said anything about not being sure.  It's so awesome to see your child confident in themselves and shine on stage.

While the girl candidates were up front waiting to see who would be crowned, Emma patiently sat and watched.

The whole homecoming group.

We have to give 'props' to Logan as well. He was patient and so proud of his sister. There was a lot of attention on Emma this night and he just took it in stride. He was so happy that she was so happy...

Happy Homecoming!
