On Saturday we decided to get up and get some things done. First on our list was a trip to the UofM campus to catch a Gopher VB game.

Here is our other future Gopher...She's already had lots of arm swing work this summer on the trampoline.
If you will notice, the kids are holding a t-shirt. For introductions each player throws a shirt into the crowd and for the first time in 8+years, we finally caught one! And it just happened to be thrown by our favorite player which makes it all that much better. Then, as luck would have it.... the court staff threw out shirts again between games and after a tip off my finger, Kirby caught another one. I'm pretty sure the guy behind us was upset as he had his hands on the first shirt Kirby caught and then he moved seats and missed the 2nd shirt as well. But, today was our day!
The only downside to the game was that the Gophers lost in 5 sets.
Don't worry though, we'll be back......

Fun day! I was just telling Chad that I want to make sure we get to a Gopher volleyball match this year. I say it every year and then never make it!
