Ahh...Michele. I understand this "left behind" syndrome. It happens when your children are young but believe me...it all changes once they can pour their own cereal. I can say with all honesty that I LIKE IT when the men in my family hunt. I WISH we had a cabin where they would disappear for a week or two.
The Peer Deer Pressure is something that women ought not try to understand or change. It is what it is...a force of nature that cannot be reckoned with. Best advice I can give is to embrace it, and while they are away, spend money like crazy because they dare not complain about it.
