Getting ready for Halloween.....

On Saturday we took our annual trek to the great pumpkin patch! It was a beautiful day and what better way to spend the day but picking out pumpkins! The 'patch' we go to is in Wyoming, MN and it's a family owned farm who have a huge field of pumpkins to walk through with wagons. I think the best part of this place is that it's free and the pumpkins are $3 each, no matter the size and it's a nice, family atmosphere.
Tyler started the day by pulling the wagon with our 2 pumpkins in it.

Pretty soon we were out in the field, each of us trying to find what we could call 'the perfect pumpkin' and little Logie bear was just doing his best to not fall down over and over again.

Tyler has a knack for finding the BIG pumpkin.
Emma liked a medium size one..

Logan went with the mini pumpkin.
I went for the tall one this year..

Then it was time to head back to civilization and play around some more.

Here are the three pumpkins in a pumpkin.
Our little Logie Bear who can fit into anything.

Look how much they've grown!

Tyler's photo of Kirby and I, look closely......

All of these decorations are hand painted and they have funny Halloween sayings on them. Kirby and I always get a good chuckle every year.

Emma was patiently waiting to go in the corn bin and play with the corn. She climbed in with no problem but Logie was a little scared. So, big brother Tyler went in to ease his fears.

Then Emma saw you could get your face painted and opted for the flower.

While Kirby went to change Logan's diaper, Tyler took a nice photo of Emma and I.

After the diaper change, Kirby took a nice photo of me with the first kid whom gave me lots of practice and knowledge in changing diapers 12 years ago.
Daddy bear and Logie bear........
And the last picture of the day was of Logan hanging out on the tractor.
This is one of my favorite places to go and things to do and I have been looking forward to this day ever since I realized that summer is really over. We are now the proud owners of 5 bright and shiny pumpkins ready to be carved into scary faces in a few weeks.
