A love without end, Amen

I am guilty of posting too many pictures of Logan and I out fishing and hunting. The Social Media masses must think that I favor one of my kids over the others. I don't. This stinkin' girl right here has got me wrapped around her finger.

Our little Nemo recently needed some minor medical attention that required some local anesthetics. Although she's one tough Defenceman on the ice, she's never really been a fan of needles. She's got the grit and fortitude to go into the corners with a big heart and a big bag of knuckles but doesn't want to face the pain of those scary needles without her Daddy there with her.

She nearly pierced the skin as we held hands last week during her doctor's appointment. A week and two pounds of antibiotics later and all is well. She's on the mend.

And then just today she asked Good Ol' Dad to accompany her to the rink tonight. Tonight she's been asked to help out with our Learn to Skate kids. Pine City's littlest of future hockey players will take to the ice to try something new and completely foreign to them. With knife blades tied to their little feet, most won't want to be out of the reach of their doting parents. There will be a lot of tears and plenty of smiles. The coaching staff will work wonders and they asked some older kids to help....

My little Nemo really wanted Dad to come along too....

And so, with a Big Buck in sight... Logan will be Solo bow hunting the Preserve tonight. Dad won't be in a tree stand doing the same. I'll be holding my little girl's hand up at the rink.

It's an awesome feeling to know that she still needs her daddy.

Hi Paul,

Takes a big man to tell everyone his daughter has him wrapped around her little finger! Nice to see you two are hanging out together, Logan will be fine for one day. Keep being an awesome Dad!
