Track n Field Day

Last week...Emma had track and field day. It was the 1st-2nd and 3rd graders, it was low key, quick and fun.  The kids rotated around 8 stations each getting ample time to show their skills and participate.

Emma's first station was snack.  Which I know she is rather skilled at eating.

Then it was off to 'how far can you toss a bean bag off your foot' station.

She did very well. Fun to watch her be happy for herself and for her peers.

The boy standing behind her was so cute to watch.
He and Emma are friends and he smiled and cheered her on more than anyone else in their group.
A few weeks ago, Emma was sick from school and when she came back the next day, he had made her a flower.  Uh-hem, watch out Daddy in ten years!

Time to run....
Just look at that take off!

Time for long jump....check out that hang time! Just like her mother.

There were other stations but hard to get a decent picture. So, her she is at the end just hanging out and waiting.

It was a nice day, so fun to see all the kids we hear about all the time from her and to see her interact with her peers.  I can't believe our baby girl is going into 3rd grade. Where does the time go?

Great job Emma! Love you!
