I will have to admit that Halloween really isn't one of my favorite holidays.
Don't get me wrong, I like candy but....for some reason I just prefer other holidays
Saturday night we got out the pumpkins and got ready to do some surgery!
Speaking of pumpkins, here are my two...
Logan, very intense on this process.
Everyone getting their hands dirty.
Logan, just as cute as can be!
Logan LOVES Nacho Libre the movie....really, we catch him pretending to be Jack Black all the time and acting out the scenes all the time.
The mask we got for him from our trip to Mexico last July.
Doesn't he look tough?
Emma went with a cheetah outfit.
I'm proud to say that my sewing matching made both of these costumes.
Yep, just call me Mother of the Year. Lol!
The trick or treaters in action!
So, Sunday night, the kids are in bed and Kirby and I are talking about costumes. Kirby is trying to figure out what to wear. His first idea was a hockey ref...yawn...boring I told him.
Then he came up with the idea of me being a cupid.
I told him HE would be a better cupid!
Out came the sewing machine again!
Only a 6th grade Elementary Ed teacher could get away with wearing this costume to school.
While we were out and about....EVERYONE was yelling, "Hi Mr Kirby-I like your costume!!!
At one point, I was with the kids at a house and turned around to see a MASS of kids huddled around someone. Yep, that someone was Kirby. They all wanted a picture with him.
I just went with the ref outfit. I look good in stripes. :)
Logan and I are 'in action' but check out Gunner, he's trying to figure out who the heck this black bite size creature is and if he should be worried or not.
It was a fun night for all of us.
So fun to walk around town and say hi to friends/students/teachers/parent/ kids that you know.
I hope your Halloween was as great as ours.

Oh Man, I don't think I'll ever be able to look at Paul in the face again after seeing that picture!
