In other news....

Any guesses on who's the story teller in the family and gets to stand in front of 11-12 year olds all day and entertain them with stories and knowledge?

In my defense, I told Kirby that by fostering a dog for a week or so, I might be willing to 'foster' a boat for a week or two so the situation was really to benefit both of us.

In other news.......

*We got two GREAT report cards this week!  Tyler's lowest grade was a B+ and the rest were all A's. My Dad said, "I just don't know how he does it."  Nice job Tyler!   Emma Roo's lowest grade was an S but we saw lots of O's and S+'s.  We are very proud of both of them....

*Sweetest moment this week:  Driving in the car with Tyler, Emma and Logan... Logan says, "Tyler, I missed you."  Melt my heart...

*Logan has become his Daddy's right hand man for ice fishing.  He's got the look and that look in his eye to having the 'need to go fishing' every weekend bug.

*Gunner is still the best dog ever even after the 'slight' disruption last week.

*I kept checking the mailbox but never saw a check for $145,000. Hmphf.  Plan B was to play the lottery so I bought a powerball ticket and didn't win. Hmphf!  So, I guess I'll just continue to drive by our dream house and maybe just pull into the driveway once to pretend I live there.  :)

*We are blessed to have such great people in our lives. People that love our kids as if they were their own, people that take the time to ask how we are doing on a weekly basis and people that are happy to see us.

*I've had some good conversations with Emma and Logan about life in the car this past week. Just today Emma and I talked about money and retirement and how to have a budget.  Our kids are so smart and even on those days that they drive us crazy.......deep down we love them for who they are.

*Bear Creek Soups are good!  We hit a breadstore this past weekend and found them....Quick to make and soooooo good!

Have a great week all!
