- Last Sunday, Kirby and I went out to a nice dinner with our friends the Bowlands and the Roods at the Hanging Horn restaurant in Barnum. It's so much easier to find a babysitter for a Sunday night-there's a hint for those of you looking for babysitters. The night was filled with drinks, good food and great adult conversations that evoked lots of laughing. It was a much needed night out for all of us I think and hopefully we can do it again soon.
- Found out that my brother asked Vanessa to marry him! And she actually said yes!
- Emma is still enjoying gymnastics on Tuesday nights and is getting good at her V sits and toe points. We are thinking about enrolling Logan in a class so he can have some fun too.
- Kirby picked Tyler up for MEA break and brought him to the RC vs Braham FB game on Wednesday night. Tyler is the ball boy at the games when he is there so he has fun running out on the field and working with the refs and being right in the middle of all the HS sports action. They won and now it's playoff time.
- Tyler and I were able to spend sometime together this weekend. We enjoyed a nice day of shopping and a delicious lunch out at Olive Garden.
- Kirby spent some of the weekend in Brainerd for a bachelor party. His weekend included fishing, hunting and adult beverages with his old college buddies.
- I spent the weekend at home with the kids. We went out to the part one night for some fun before the sun set.
This is the only thing on the playground that Logan can reach from the ground. :)

Emma is getting good at practicing her owl hangs.

Here's Emma getting her big brother sick on the tire swing.

It was a nice weekend but you can tell that winter is on it's way. The air is cold and the darkness comes earlier and earlier.
On Sunday, Emma was invited to a birthday party and while she was having fun there, Logan was helping Daddy rake the leaves. Logan LOVES to help with chores........thank goodness!

The Kirby's had a good week and I hope you did too! Is anyone else starting to have the Christmas itch?
